Bamberg Symphony Orchestra plays film score music

Together with the silent picture "The Knight of the Rose" plays the orchestra live the music of Richard Strauss

At the end of this week, the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra presents two very special subscription concerts in the Bamberg Concerthall: While the silent picture "The Knight of the Rose" will be shown on a big screen, the orchestra under the baton of Frank Strobel will play the orginal movie score music that Richard Strauss has once put together for the transformation of his popular opera into a movie. The opera itself had its premiere 100 years ago, the movie was made some years later.
