Address of the Bavarian State Minister Dr. Heubisch
Ladies and Gentlemen, the Free State of Bavaria is extremely proud of the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra. As ‘Bavaria’s Cultural Ambassador to the World’ it has enjoyed great success for many years in concert halls all over the globe. In the coming season too, invitations for prestigious guest appearances have been renewed, a reminder of the high esteem which the Bavarian State Philharmonic enjoys everywhere.

Biennale Bamberg - July 6 - 21, 2012
On 1st March 2012, Wolfgang Fink presented the programme for this year's Biennale Bamberg at a press conference. From 6th through 21st July, Bamberg will be the stage for many events regarding Mozart: concertant opera nights with „Così fan tutte“ and "La finta giardiniera", recitals, chamber music concerts and a symposion.
